General rules

  • Do NOT ignore a staff member!
  • Misbehaviour in the forums or in the IRC channel will result in a warning ( ).
  • Only one account per IP. If you for some reason share your IP with others, you'll need to contact a member of Staff to avoid getting banned for having more than one account.
  • You can only have 2 unfilled request running at the same time

Downloading rules

  • Keep ratio at minimum 1:1! If your ratio drops under 0,6 for a while, you will get a warning ( ).
    You will get 1 week to straighten this out, if not you will be banned, unless you have a valid reason
  • Hit'n'runs are forbidden and will result in a warning ( ). Repeat breaking this rule, and it will result in ban from the site.
  • Make sure you seed 1:1 or at least 48 hours, or else you will recieve a warning ( ) The 48 hours begins when you completed your download
  • Seed all packs to a 1:1 ratio OR for 96 hours minimum! (4 days), or else you will recieve a warning ( ) The 96 hours begins when you completed your download
  • Ikke Sikre At Fjerne (not safe to remove) is a new feature, enabling YOU to make sure that the seed requirements have been met. This way you can avoid Hit'n'run. This info can be seen under your user name by clicking on your name at the top right corner of the UB page, and then looking up the information under: +Ikke sikre at fjerne. Read more about it HERE
  • Free 2 leech means that this torrent is Free to Leech for everybody, and the downloaded amount does not count on your download ratio only on your upload ratio. However, you MUST seed 1:1 or 48 hours after download has been completed. Hit'n'run Hit'n'run is definetely not allowed in this category, and punishment shall be severe if you break this rule.
  • Ugly 2 Leech means that this torrent is Free to Leech for Ugly User or above, and the downloaded amount only counts on regular users' download ratio. However, you MUST seed 1:1 or 48 hours after download has been completed. Hit'n'run Hit'n'run is definetely not allowed in this category, and punishment shall be severe if you break this rule.
  • Ratio 2 Leech means that this torrent is Free to Leech for everybody with a Ratio of 2.5 or above. However, you MUST seed 1:1 or 48 hours after download has been completed. Hit'n'run Hit'n'run is definetely not allowed in this category, and punishment shall be severe if you break this rule.
  • 2 X in Upload means that this torrent is NOT free to leech, but the amount uploaded on this torrent is multiplied by 2. However, you MUST seed 1:1 or 48 hours after download has been completed. Hit'n'run Hit'n'run is definetely not allowed in this category, and punishment shall be severe if you break this rule.
  • REMEMBER THAT EACH AND EVERY TORRENT DOWNLOADED MUST BE SEEDET ACCORDING TO THE RULES, EVEN THOUGH IT IS FREE 2 LEECH.

Uploading rules

  • As an uploader you must make at least 1 new upload every two weeks, ofcourse you can go on vacation etc, just inform staff about it
  • You must have at least a 2 Mbit (2048 KB/s) upload bandwith
  • When uploading DVDR discs with a 5 Mbit internet connection you should only upload one at the time. When one has enough seeders you can upload the next one. Exceed missuse of this will lead to DEMOTION.
  • You must be able to seed at least 3 days or until 6 others have downloadet your upload.
  • You MUST be connectable, if not contact staff and they will help you.
  • If you choose to upload XXX there must be screenshots attached.
  • If you choose to upload a movie, there must be a cover picture attached.
  • DHT has to be turned off when you make your torrent.
  • There has to be an NFO enclosed to the RAR-archives (you could use Cool Beans NFO Creator fx).
  • Upload no repulsive material! Staff will remove this and you will recieve a PM saying so. If it happens again you will recieve a warning ( )
  • Uglybits is supporting charity work, so uploading supportive cd's/dvd's is not allowed.
  • Uploads has to be packed in RAR files like this:
    - Music must not be packed.
    - Files up to 1GB = RAR files at 15.000.000 Byte(15MB)
    - Files at 1GB or above = RAR files at 50.000.000 Byte (50 MB)
    - Scene releases must be in original condition.

Rules for VIP status

  • VIP status is granted when you donate. It will give you a custom title. If you donate more than 150 dkk, it also gives you 3 days of FreeLeech. You will recieve a heart () next to your nick that indicates that you have chosen to support UgLyBiTs.

Rules for Torrent Comments

  • No links or spam allowed.
  • Always respect the uploader.
  • Please limit your comment to the specific torrent.
  • If you have no intensions of downloading, don't comment.
  • Our releases are not due to your taste, if you don't like a release, just ignore it.
  • Respect each other and watch your language.

Rules for using our Forums

  • It is not allowed to make REQUEST, if you do that it will caust you a WARNING.
  • When you write in forum keep the message to the subject.
  • Don't write anything that doesn't have anything to do with the subject.
  • If you have something you would like to say, or anything then create a new topic.
  • No aggressive behaviour or flaming in the forums.
  • Spam and links to other sites, where you can download is forbidden.
  • No advertising in the forums.
  • Any kind of commercial advertising is strictly prohibited (except in the marketplace)
  • No trashing of other peoples topics (i.e. SPAM).
  • If you have a requested crack, or serial, send it in a PM. Don't post it in forums.
  • No asking for invites to other sites.
  • Please ensure all questions are posted in the correct section!
    (Game questions in the Games section, Apps questions in the Apps section, etc.)
  • Last, please read the FAQ before asking any questions!

  • No aggressive behavior or flaming in our channel.
  • Spam and links to other sites, where you can download is forbidden.
  • Avoid exaggerated use of scripts. They're often just disturbing.
  • If you have a requested crack, or serial, send it in a PM. Don't ask for it in our channel.
  • No asking for invites to other sites.
  • No advertising in our channel.
  • Please don't repeat yourself.
  • Don't ask for special status like +v, +o, +%.
  • Please read the FAQ before asking questions!

Rules for your Profile

  • No use of links in your profile.
  • No hardcore porn allowed.
  • You are only allowed to have one account per IP

Rules for the use of Avatars

  • The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
  • Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn, religious material, animal / human cruelty or ideologically charged images. Staff will remove any avatar that doesn't comply to our rules. If in doubt PM a staff member.
